Comments

1SMART VOLATILITY  Y T Cheng

Unable to slot in and raced 4 wide with cover, 5-6ls back, switched wider turning, let down with a big finish to overhaul rivals inside final 100m and score a strong win given workload.

2SMART MAN  Z Purton  (H/XB/TT)

Taken back from a wide gate, slotted in behind midfield racing 2 and 3 wide, aided by reasonable speed, made run through pack and looked the winner at 200m before being swallowed up late.

3KEEN WONGCHOY  B Prebble  (B/H/TT)

Settled next to last 7ls back racing 2 wide, aided by tempo, still well back turning, produced solid final 400m making many lengths and closing hard late to just miss 2nd.

4DYNAMIC VOYAGE  R Fourie  (SR)

Standard break drifted back and lost spot approaching first bend, 6ls or so away in middle stages, made run through field final 400m making many le3ngths to just miss a place.

5WINNIE'S HORSE  G Mosse  (TT)

Pressed on and raced 3 wide just off lead, had some cover 2-3ls back on circle, set out after leader and kept coming in straight, headed 200m but kept on creditably without looking to threaten.

6SUPER JOCKEY  T Angland

Restrained from a wide gate and taken down to rails, enjoyed a quiet trip 5ls back on fence, saved ground turning, held up at 300m, closed nicely when clear.

7ATACX  C Y Lui  (TT)

Away with rest, raced just off pace 3ls away in 1 out 1 back slot, no real excuses to turn, clear from 300m but just stayed on at one speed, held ground nevertheless.

8BIG FOUR  O Doleuze  (H/TT)

Restrained from an outside alley, raced 3 wide at rear 7ls or so away with cover, set a task still last turning, made good progress down middle of the course to be closest at finish.

9THE PRINCE  M Chadwick  (B/TT)

Showed customary speed to take lead, set good tempo throughout, kicked 3ls clear at 400m, came back to them quickly inside 200m and faded out of contention inside 100m when workload took effect.

10FIGHTER CLASS  D Whyte

Positioned midfield 2-3 wide with cover, 4ls or so back to bend, made a brief effort turning but peaked at 200m when condition gave out and didn't feature thereafter.

11HEARTS KEEPER  T H So  (B)

Trapped wide from outset when pressing on in search of positive position, kept working throughout 3 wide without cover, soon struggling turning and folded final 300m.

12MERIDIAN TREASURE  K C Ng  (B)

Showed good early speed, took spot behind leader but did share of work with some mid race pressure, niggled turning, didn't respond and faded right out in straight.

13SUPER CAGA  A Suborics  (B)

Ended up in midfield, trapped 4 wide without cover, always working 4-5ls back in run. Gradually weakened out in straight when workload too effect.

14EASY SUCCESS  T Berry  (TT)

Took a spot on rails in midfield, 4ls or so off lead, fair run to turn, didn't pick up from 300m and was beaten a fair way.
