Began well, ridden to hold out early leader before taking lead 800m. Kicked clear entering straight and pulled away for easy win under hands and heels riding.
2SPARKLING B  R Fourie  (B-/TT)

Began fairly then hard to be ridden before turn to hold inside position. Held for run 400m to 250m, ran on strongly under whip when clear.
3KIDS AND WIN  K C Leung

A little slow into stride but made up ground quickly to sit 3rd before dropping into box seat turn. Kept on steadily in straight under hard riding.
4BRIGHT STAR  C K Tong  (B)

Began awkwardly then bumped by eventual winner dropping back. Shifted out 900m only to race in restricted room. Switched to centre of track 400m, doing best work final 200m.
5SMART KIDS  Y T Cheng  (TT)

Began best and led for 200m before dropping back to 3rd when passed by swooper. Fourth into straight and kept on one-paced to line.
6TURIN PEARL  O Doleuze  (SR1)

Not rushed early but gradually improved to sit behind leading bunch into turn. Swung wide into stride and kept on one-paced.
7AFFLUENCE OF RAIN  A Suborics  (B/TT)

Jumped OK but soon in restricted room and cut closer to fence. Still in restricted room turn and early in straight. One paced when clear.

Ridden forward from wide draw to sit 3rd early before dropping 2-back, one-off into turn. Taken 4-wide turning for home but found little under hard riding.

No early pace, moved closer to but away from fence to turn. Hard ridden from 400m running past tired horses.

Outpaced early, dropping to last pair along fence. Put under pressure entering straight, making some ground late.

Ridden forward from wide draw but trapped 3-wide without cover before turn. Under whip from 300m but failed to make ground and eased final strides.

Taken back from wide draw to find cover but still held 3-wide entering turn. Gradually lost position turn and plodded final 200m.

Began well but not enough speed and gradually shuffled back towards rear. No response when shown whip entering straight.

Had head turned when gates opened and slow into stride. Swooped around field to sit outside leader at turn. Still 2nd entering straight before running on empty and slipping back.
