1AKEED MOFEED  D Whyte  (SR-/XB1)

Dropped back from a tricky draw but unable to find slot in running line, raced 3 wide with cover 5ls back, travelled well and moved into race strongly turning, put paid to rivals swiftly and ran away to win easily.

2KYARA  W M Lai  (H/XB)

Ended up in rearward spot as usual, 6-7ls back on fence, helped by strong speed t top end, came home strongly down middle final 300m to take 2nd, no match for winner.

3WRATH OF FIRE  T Angland

Positioned just behind midfield 5ls away on rails, aided by solid pace on, improved between horses turning, produced usual honest close to take a place.

4BEAUTY LEAD  M Chadwick  (TT)

Began well and assumed ideal position 1out 1 back, good trip in transit although speed was decent, made run with eventual winner but peaked at 200m.

5EMPEROR CLAUDIUS  T H So  (P/XB)

Showed good speed to cross and lead, set a genuine tempo in front, 1l clear turning but soon tackled, kept on ok given work.

6KING OF SCOTS  R Fourie

Out in line and held a spot just off pace on rails, 3-4ls back throughout, clear running presented at 400m but just had one speed and stayed on fairly to line.

7HOT SHOT  C Y Lui  (TT)

Began with usual purpose but elected for a trail, travelled well on leaders back but did do share of work with decent sections, produced to challenge turning in but didn't go on final 300m.

8BLAZING SPEED  C Y Ho

Landed a spot in midfield, 4ls or so back in running line, travelled well to bend, unable to close off when produced and just held ground in straight.

9NAVEL ORANGE  M L Yeung  (B)

Tucked into spot behind midfield 5ls back, raced 2 wide inside eventual winner turning, lacked a pickup at 400m and didn't close off at business end.

10SILVER GRECIAN  W C Marwing  (H2/XB2/TT)

Raced behind midfield 6ls or so back, aided by decent speed, still had job to do turning, lacked usual close and just maintained 1 speed in straight.

11TAKNAM  U Rispoli  (B)

Dropped back to rear as is customary, 8ls or more off top end, suited by tempo, lacked usual finish in straight and passed only tired horses late.

12CHATER DREAM  T Clark

Wide early and pressed on to race outside leader, did share of work with strong sections early, niggled turning and dropped off tamely from 400m.

13FREE JUDGEMENT  Y T Cheng

Settled at rear more than 8ls back, suited by fast pace, well back turning and never really produced a finish. (see racing incidents jockey reported restricted action)

14GENKI TWINS  K C Leung  (XB)

Unable to slot in and forced to race 3 wide without cover in midfield, did plenty of work 5ls back and began weakening turning, dropped off badly and was disappointing despite wide run.
