Crossed easily to sit behind leader, enjoyed a nice trail to bend, produced a strong bid from 300m to gain lead and keep going to score with some in hand despite margin.

Came across to race outside leader, even trip to bend, drew away with eventual winner and in mix a long way before winner gained ascendency late, well clear of 3rd.
