Behind midfield to halfway, made rapid progress on stables bend to take up running 800 M out setting faster pace, soon drew clear after straightening.

Ridden early for pace, travelled not far off in 4th or 5th before dropping to midfield far side, saved ground on inside turning in, fought on for 2nd.

Travelled in last few, made rapid progress to 3-wide midfield coming out of stables bend, came under hard driving rounding home bend, failed to quicken to threaten in straight.

Began with others, restrained just off the pace on rails in 4th or 5th, shuffled backward to midfield at the 1200 M bend, just worse around the bend, fought on for remote 5th. (Questioned.)

Began with others, soon settled in last few, made swift progress on 1000 M to take closer order, improved to rear of midfield out wide passing the Rock, made no impression in the run home.

Broke well, settled 3 wide in prominent spot before taking over in sedate pace coming out of home straight, headed about 800 M out, chased leader eventual winner into straight, kept on before weakening inside final 200 M.

Settled in midfield on rails, shuffled back to last few coming onto far side, came under pressure at the Rock, made no show in straight.

Showed speed early to lead, ceded advantage to travel one back on rails passing winning post the first time, soon came under pressure to hold place far side, dropped out tamely in home straight.

Very slowly away, worked to join tail of field, gradually improved to rear of midfield before hampered a few times and lost many lengths on stables bend, no further impression.
