Contested lead early, settled for 2nd inside leader on rails, became 1.5Ls off the pace from 600 M out, came to challenge inside final 150 M to just get up on line.

Began well from a wide draw, ridden to gain slender lead turning into back straight, went clear of 2nd to cross to rails 600 M out, extended break to 2Ls rounding home bend, just caught in the shadows of the post.

3PAPAS  M Barzalona  (V)

Began well, shared pace briefly, soon settled in 2L 3rd, still 3rd but further away from leader when pace quickened home bend, one-paced in straight.

4TURIN CHAMPION  O Doleuze  (XB)

Began with others from the widest gate, soon snatched back to last, commenced run shifting out wide around the bend, made up good ground down the centre of the straight, did best work late.

5GRACYTOM  B Prebble  (B/H)

Began with others from a wide draw, soon held back to race in rear, remained similar to straight, produced late impression to be nearest at finish.

6DUKE'S VICTORY  M Guyon  (V)

Began fairly, settled in midfield, saved ground on inside turning in, kept on steadily without quickening.

7KING OF FISH II  Z Purton  (B-/SW1)

Ridden early to contest lead, soon settled in 4th within 3Ls of pace far side but was wide without cover, became further back when pace quickened around the bend, kept on same pace in the run home.

Began moderately, travelled mainly in rear of midfield, went wide into straight, one-paced.

Began with others, ridden along early before settling in forward of midfield on the rails, saved ground turning in, soon faded after straightening.

Jumped in air and stumbled on landing losing ground, remained well behind throughout. (Blood in trachea and lame next day.)

Began slowly, settled towards the rear on rails, saved ground turning in, dropped out under pressure. (Bled.)

Began with others, raced very wide without cover in forward of midfield before shuffling backward gradually far side, dropped to tail-end passing 400 M.
