Began well, held lead from three off the fence far side, crossed to rails coming out of back straight, kicked 2Ls clear after straightening, hung on well to the line.

Soon taken back to rear and crossed for rails run, snuck up to forward of midfield on rails rounding home bend, ran on steadily from midfield into straight but without threatening.

Began moderately but soon ridden along rails, gradually settled in forward of midfield about 3Ls off the speed, met minor interferences turning in, fought on steadily without threatening.

Began well from the widest draw, contested lead early before settling in 2nd outside leader, similar turning in but could only keep on at the one pace in the run home. (Lame next day.)
