Rated behind midfield 4 wide with cover. Peeled out early in the straight and had the race well within in its keeping after hitting the front near the 200m.
2FISHKING GLORY  N Callan  (B-/H-/TT)

Slow to begin then settled 4 deep at the rear with cover. Rounded the home turn widest and closed off nicely.
3BE GRATEFUL  J Lloyd  (B)

Camped midfield, 1 off with cover. Copped a check early in the straight but recovered and closed off well.
4LUCKY BOY  C Y Ho  (B/TT)

Stalked the leaders 2-3 wide with cover. Looked to shift out early in the home straight but went back in to find runs through the field. Failed to click up a gear in the straight but was still able to finish in the frame.
5WELL NOTED  M Guyon  (PC/TT)

Tracked the leader along the fence. was held up in the early stages of the final stretch but failed to make any substantial impression thereafter.
6FORTUNE TOGETHER  O Doleuze  (H/XB2)

Was taken back at the start from a wide gate and settled near the rear 1 off with cover. Held up early in the straight but never really looked likely.
7NOTUS  G Mosse

Ridden along early but was posted 4 wide without cover on the circle ahead of midfield. Struggled in the final stretch.
8HINYUEN PALADIN  C W Wong

Worked hard to race in the leading trio but coursed 3 wide without cover for most of the trip. Never likely.
9THUNDER DANCING  B Prebble  (PC)

Couldn't go the early speed of the race and settled at the tail of the field along the fence. Had some traffic problems entering the straight but was somewhat flat in the run to line. (blood in trachea.)
10SOLAR BOY  M W Leung  (B)

Began awkwardly then ridden along to take up leading duties along the rail. Faded passing the last furlong.
11HEALTHY FARM  B Doyle  (SR1/SW1)

Raced in the middle of the leading trio. Was a beaten horse after the 400m.
12WELL DONE  K C Leung

Wasn't the best away then raced with the rear of the field 3 wide with cover. Tailed out in the straight. (To trial.)
