Gradually made his way forward and raced outside the lead, quickened off 300M, ran on to score decisively.

Prominently placed behind leader, box seated on straightening and briefly held up to 350 M, ran on well when clear without ever threatening to overhaul the winner.

Assumed a midfield spot 3Ls off the pace, well covered to straight, challenged strongly from over 300 M to claim 3rd on the line.

Handily placed just off the pace, pushed along inside 450M, all out but not able to close the gap with the leader.

Restrained on jumping and raced in last pair, waited with till 400 M and came wide with his effort, made promising headway inside final 300 M, never nearer.

3-wide no cover in midfield, kept on in straight but lacked another gear to seriously challenge.

Soon switched to the inside after the start, travelled kindly in midfield 3 to 4Ls back, had his chance but could find no extra inside final 150 M.

Caught wide in midfield throughout, effort from over 350 M out but not pace to challenge.

Settled 2-wide behind midfield, kept on one paced under pressure 400 M from home. Never dangerous.

Dropped to the rear 7Ls behind leader, had plenty to do on straightening but made only limited progress from off the pace. No impression.

Dropped in behind midfield, not helped by the pace and was difficult to settle, 3-wide turning for home, not picked up when clear inside 300 M.

Unable to cross from the outside barrier and travelled towards the rear four wide without cover, steadied near 300 M, not quicken after.

Never better than midfield and kept to the rail throughout, driven 400 M out but no response. Never a factor.

Led from the start and never seriously challenged for the lead, found nothing when pressed inside 350 M, weakened and eased. (Irregular heart rhythm.)
