Caught wide on jumping from 14, strolled forward to track leader entering home turn, took over 350M, kept finding in the lead under 10 lb claimer, fought off nearest challenger inside 100M, continued on well to line.
2着LUCKY GIRL　　J Moreira

Reserved along the fence, settled down 3Ls off the pace ahead of midfield, came through to challenge winner 250M but always held, faded late stages.
3着GENERAL SHERMAN　　M Chadwick　　(TT)

Began awkwardly, failed to muster speed, detached from the field 10Ls off the pace, brought wide 450M, closed off strongly outside, almost claimed 2nd at the finish.
4着LEADING HORSE　　K C Leung　　(H)

Pushed forward early, stopped pursuing for the lead after 1500M, sat behind leaders 3-wide without cover, fought on steadily in straight but always held by leader. (Jockey questioned re tactics.)
5着GONNA RUN　　C Y Ho　　(TT)

Settled down in 11th place about 5Ls off the pace middle stages, difficult obtain run early straight, stayed on moderately over final 300M.
6着HAPPY CONTENDER　　O Doleuze　　(B)

Prominent from the start, tracked leaders in 3rd making the turn, had every chance entering straight, kept up with the pursue until 150M when flattened.
7着SELKIRK STAR　　D Whyte　　(TT)

Restrained in mid-division along the 2-path, into clear inside 400M, ran on well to 150M but couldn't sustain run late stages. (Lame LF leg)
8着FLARING SPEED　　M L Yeung　　(B1/TT1)

Began awkwardly, sat behind midfield 5Ls off the pace along the rails, kept on same pace final 350M and made little impression on debut.
9着PO CHING TREASURE　　H N Wong　　(V/TT)

Urged along on jumping from wide barrier, crossed to the lead before home turn, soon tackled by rival leaving the bend, fought on briefly then gave way 250M.

Held up 3-wide behind midfield, 6Ls off the pace middle stages, responded well early straight but run ended passing 200M. (No Vet findings)

Dropped back to near the rear 7-8Ls off the pace, brought wide 500M, made limited progress down the outside lane, well held by leaders final 200M.

Caught 4-wide in midfield, lost cover entering home turn, kept on same pace early straight, no extra inside 200M. (Lost right front plate)

Up with early pace, sat 2Ls behind leader making home turn but failed to keep up with rivals passing 450M, soon weakened entering straight.

Held up 3-wide in mid-division, gave no response when driven along nearing top of straight, soon out of contention, finished tailed out. (Unacceptable performance)
