1ROMANTIC BONANZA  T Berry  (B1/TT)

Held narrow advantage on the rail early stages, ceded lead for one-back position on the rail passing the 1000 metres, tracked the leader into home straight, quickened well to hit the front just inside the 300 metres, won confidently.

2SUPER MODEL  Z Purton  (TT1)

Broke well, worked his way to the front over 1000 metres out, led the small field until headed inside the 300 metres. (Cast plate 1000 metres out)

3RULETHEROOST  A Sanna

Very slowly away, trailed the field in last of the 7 runners, saved ground turning for home and fought on steadily along the rail to be nearest at finish.

4SPEED VISION  J Moreira  (TT1)

Soon taken back to 5th about 3L off the pace, gained 2L 4th coming onto home bend, switched out for a run entering straight, became 3rd some 3L back passing the 300 metres, kept on well but lost the placing closing stages.

5PACIFIC MASTER  D Whyte  (B-/H1/TT)

Awkward at start losing ground, close up in 4th before crowded and shuffled back to 5th 800 metres out, hung out dropping to last of 7 entering home straight, fought on steadily past beaten horses in the run home.

6KING KANALOA  N Callan  (SR1/TT1)

Began awkwardly losing more than 2L, ridden along to recover to 5th over 3L back on the rail, inconvenienced coming onto home bend, kept on at the one pace under pressure without quickening in the run to the line.

7ROCKAGE  C Schofield  (XB)

Close up, given reminders when 2nd outside the leader 600 metres out, weakened noticeably after straightening.
